Genius Hour

1)For my project Iqra and I will be donating food to the Holyoke food pantry. By the end of the next two weeks we will have bought parishable items. Then sometime after that we will bring it to the food pantry. 2)The project involves three steps. We have to buy the cans, find a place to store them, organize everything, then transport it to the Holyoke food pantry. 3) I can take images of buying the products, the stock of the products, and bringing the goods to the pantry. 4) The photoraphy will be posted on Iqra's Instagram. 5) The project isnt that much work, so it will not take too much work. We can get it all done in about a week.

The next step me and my partner took was to call the pantry of South Hadley, since they didn't pick up we called the Holyoke food pantry. They picked up. The conversation went good, except we found out that we can't bake or cook anything and donate because we can only donate cans of food or like packaged food. That took away our interest because one of the purpose was to cook and bake, but we still get to help others which balances it out. Next me and my partner will buy the products.

Iqra and I are going to be donating and making food to one of our local food pantries. Our next step is to get into contact with the food pantries to mension our plans to them. We will see if our plan works for them and if not we can get a hold of another local towns food pantry. Over the weekend the will also decide a few different dates to hang out and plan out the food making and organizing days. I do not believe it is necessary to know exactly which foods to make and donate but if it is necesary, we can do so. This is what Iqra and I plan on doing for our passion project, and our next step to go forward.

My type is ENFP. This means I am 47% Extravert, 28% Intuitive, 62% feelings, and 3% percieving. Three characteristics of my type is outgoing, warm, and intellectual. Generally I disagree with my type. I do not believe it fits my personality, Three jobs that are possible for my type is psychologist, social worker, or counseler. One observation I made is that my type enjoys being around poeple, and everything requires other beings, or nothing is individual. For my Genius hour brainstorming worksheet, I saw a pattern that was helping others and my environment. My top four from each column would be the ones that relate to the pattern because I enjoy helping more than the rest. So, to be exact my favorites would be the follow: Helping others and different ways to help my community, helping communities, what will the future be like, and environment saving (littering and recycling). I am considering doing something to help a community in some form. I have to decide whether I want to help people, a community, or both. I also have to decide which community i want to help. IN order to help the community, picking up trash in the public, helping people with simple deeds, and help the people also. It is possible to go to a place with plenty of poor people and make a bag with food, travel size products, and a bottle of water. Another idea I had was to help animals.
